Sandals Saint Vincent
Treasure hunting in the Caribbean anyone? If you are looking for one of the last hidden gems of the Caribbean – Saint Vincent and the Grenadine islands is it!
Located in the windward islands of the Southern Caribbean, these jewels will take your breath away. With lush forest valleys, volcano mountain peaks, black sand beaches and azure waters Saint Vincent & the Grenadines will not disappoint.
This newer resort, Sandals Saint Vincent, is just another example of how Sandals’ pioneering spirit has led the way in luxury all Inclusive vacations. They are the first luxury all inclusive resort to open on the island if Saint Vincent so this gives you an opportunity to explore the destination in its natural beauty while still enjoying the luxury all inclusive vacation.
Saint Vincent has easy access from the US via the new Argyle international airport. This newer Sandals Saint Vincent luxury brand all inclusive resort makes for a perfect stay to explore the other islands. Enjoy an all day multi island excursion right from the resort dock visiting the Grenadine islands of Bequia and Mustique.
The resort was created with a balance of discovery and relaxation.
Gourmet Dining
Sandals Saint Vincent has taken dining to a whole new level, featuring new restaurants never experienced before. Some of my favorites are Sora featuring Italian cuisine such as Caprese Salad and Pollo Alla Parmigiana with Tiramisu.
Buccan is a new concept for Sandals Resorts offering a farm to table theme based around a communal table. The centerpiece of Buccan is our hearth and its fire. You will experience local ingredients, from the sea and the local farms.
Scrimshaw serves up fresh locally caught seafood including Caribbean lobster (8 months of the year), conch served several ways, I suggest trying the grilled conch coconut rice, chadon-beni chimichurri, and tamarind chutney.
With so many dining options to try (2 for breakfast, 5 for lunch and 6 for dinner) no worries there are plenty of opportunities to burn off any calories from these wonderful restaurants.
And for an exclusive experience, check into this unique floating breakfast or lunch in a heart-shaped tray.
This is one of my favorite additions because you do not need to travel all the way to Bali or Bora Bora for this experience, as it is available right here in the southern Caribbean.

Discover the Islands of Mustique and Bequia
Island hop in Saint Vincent & Grenadines and visit 2 neighboring islands of Bequia and Mustique. These islands each are unique and provide you with a opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful under-the-radar islands of the Caribbean.
Just a short boat ride from the mainland, the exclusive islands of Mustique and Bequia offer visitors a glimpse into the laid-back charm and natural beauty of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Mustique is renowned for its luxurious private villas, pristine beaches, and celebrity appeal, making it one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive destinations. You may even spot a celebrity home passing by!
Nearby Bequia offers a more authentic island experience with its colorful waterfront, boutique shops, friendly local culture, and picturesque beaches, making it a favorite stop for sailors and travelers seeking a slower pace.
Exploring these neighboring Grenadine islands is a wonderful way to experience the diverse beauty and unique character that make Saint Vincent and the Grenadines such an unforgettable Caribbean destination.
Discover the Island of St Vincent and Dark View Falls
One of the highlights of my trip to Saint Vincent was spending the day exploring the island with a local guide. Having a private guide gave us the flexibility to experience the island at our own pace while learning about the history, culture, and everyday life from someone who calls Saint Vincent home. It felt much more personal than taking a large group excursion and allowed us to discover places we may have otherwise missed.
Our first stop was a local roadside fruit stand, where we sampled freshly picked tropical fruits and refreshing homemade juices—a wonderful introduction to the island’s incredible local flavors. From there, we made our way to one of the island’s scenic lookout points, where we captured beautiful photos overlooking Saint Vincent’s colorful bridge with the island’s lush, mountainous landscape stretching into the distance.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our visit to Dark View Falls. Thanks to our guide’s timing, we had the waterfalls completely to ourselves. Standing beneath the cascading water surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest without another visitor in sight made the experience feel incredibly peaceful and unforgettable. It was one of those rare travel moments where you can truly appreciate the untouched beauty of your surroundings. If you’re visiting Saint Vincent, I highly recommend setting aside time for a private island tour—it offers a deeper connection to the destination and creates memories that extend far beyond the resort.
If time allows, you could even stop by the old set where some of Pirates and the Caribbean was filmed.
Service at Sandals St Vincent: Luxury, Club Level, and Butler Service
One of the things I love most about Sandals Resorts is that every guest enjoys the same incredible Luxury Included® vacation, regardless of their room category. That means everyone has access to the resort’s restaurants, bars, pools, entertainment, beaches, water sports, and other included amenities. The difference between the three service levels—Luxury Level, Club Level, and Butler Elite—comes down to the accommodations, personalized services, and exclusive perks that enhance your overall vacation experience.
Luxury Level rooms offer exceptional value and include beautifully appointed accommodations with access to all of the resort’s included amenities. These rooms are perfect for couples who plan to spend most of their time enjoying the beach, pools, restaurants, and activities while still experiencing everything Sandals has to offer.
Club Level accommodations provide an elevated experience with additional amenities and personalized service. Guests enjoy private check-in, access to the exclusive Club Sandals Lounge, concierge assistance for dining and excursion reservations, room service during designated hours, and a fully stocked in-room bar with an expanded selection of premium spirits. It’s an excellent choice for couples who appreciate added convenience and personalized attention throughout their stay. For Sandals St Vincent, the Club Level service is one of my top picks!
For the ultimate luxury experience, Butler Elite accommodations deliver a higher level of personalized service. Every Butler Elite suite includes professionally trained butlers who tailor your vacation to your preferences—from reserving the best beach or poolside loungers each morning to delivering drinks and snacks wherever you are, unpacking and packing your luggage, arranging romantic surprises, drawing bubble baths, and coordinating dining reservations and special requests. Many Butler Elite suites at Sandals Saint Vincent also feature private plunge pools, expansive outdoor living spaces, and some of the resort’s most breathtaking ocean views, making them a favorite for honeymooners and couples celebrating life’s most memorable occasions.
Note: Based on both my personal experience and feedback from many of my clients who have stayed at Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean, I found the Butler Elite experience at Sandals Saint Vincent to be less consistent than at some of the brand’s other properties. With the exception of the Beachfront Butler Villas with Private Pools, which offer one of the most desirable locations on the resort, I would personally choose a Club Level Oceanview or Club Level Swim-up Suite in the Bamboo Palm or Lady Palm buildings over many of the Garden Butler Villas, as these accommodations provide better views, a more central location, and excellent overall value for most couples.
The Beaches in St Vincent
One of the most fascinating things I noticed during our island tour was the dramatic contrast between the beaches around Saint Vincent and the beach at Sandals Saint Vincent. From one of the scenic overlooks, you could clearly see how the island’s volcanic landscape naturally creates beautiful black sand beaches, while just over the mountain, the shoreline looked completely different at the Sandals Saint Vincent with their powder white sand beach. Our local guide explained that Sandals imported soft white sand to create the classic Caribbean beach experience that many guests envision when they think of a luxury resort. I absolutely loved this thoughtful approach. It allows guests to enjoy the best of both worlds—a stunning white-sand beach right at the resort while still having the opportunity to explore Saint Vincent’s unique volcanic black sand beaches during an island excursion. Experiencing both sides of the island’s natural beauty made me appreciate just how diverse and special Saint Vincent truly is.
Top Room Choices
During my stay I had a Garden Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub (VG). These rooms were located in the beautiful gardens with lots of privacy to enjoy your oversized patio and tranquility soaking tub, but if I am being honest, it was not my favorite out of all of the room category options.
For that special occasion I would recommend the Beachfront butler villa suite with private pool (BVGP). These suites come with incredible sunset views and you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch delivered to your private pool in a floating basket.
For the ultimate experience, try the Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villa (OWV). These 1,248 sq. ft. two-story water villas are perfectly set within a Caribbean cove.
For club level, I would recommend Bamboo Palm Club Swim-up Room with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub (SUP). This location will put you near the main pool, water sports desk and a short walk to the restaurants.
And another great club level option is the Lady Palm Partial Oceanview Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Sandals Saint Vincent worth it?
If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-focused luxury vacation, Sandals Saint Vincent is absolutely worth considering. Unlike some of the larger Sandals Resorts, this property offers a more secluded atmosphere surrounded by lush rainforest, dramatic mountains, and a private cove. It’s an excellent choice for couples who value relaxation, beautiful scenery, and a resort that feels more intimate than lively.
Who is Sandals Saint Vincent best for?
Sandals Saint Vincent is ideal for honeymooners, couples celebrating anniversaries, and travelers looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. If you enjoy quiet beaches, luxury accommodations, exceptional dining, and exploring beyond the resort, this destination is a fantastic fit. Couples looking for a vibrant nightlife scene may prefer one of the larger Sandals Resorts in Jamaica or Barbados.
What is included at Sandals Saint Vincent?
Every Luxury Included® vacation features accommodations, unlimited gourmet dining at 12 restaurants, premium spirits and wines, nine bars, airport transfers, gratuities, Wi-Fi, entertainment, land and water sports, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, pickleball, tennis, and unlimited scuba diving for certified divers. Guests also enjoy access to multiple pools, whirlpools, and the resort’s beautiful private beach.
Which room category is the best at Sandals Saint Vincent?
The best room depends on your vacation style. If you’re celebrating a honeymoon or milestone occasion, the Beachfront Butler Villas with Private Pools offer the resort’s most desirable location and incredible ocean views. For many couples, however, the Club Level Oceanview and Club Level Swim-up Suites in the Bamboo Palm and Lady Palm buildings provide an outstanding combination of location, views, amenities, and value.
Is Butler Elite Service worth it at Sandals Saint Vincent?
The answer depends on the room category you choose. In my experience, and based on feedback from many clients who have stayed at several Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean, the Butler experience at Sandals Saint Vincent has been less consistent than at some other Sandals properties. That said, the Beachfront Butler Villas with Private Pools remain an exceptional choice because of their unbeatable beachfront location and luxurious accommodations.
How is the beach at Sandals Saint Vincent?
The resort features a beautiful white-sand beach overlooking calm, turquoise water. Interestingly, while much of Saint Vincent is known for its natural volcanic black-sand beaches, Sandals imported white sand to create the classic Caribbean beach experience many guests expect. During an island tour, you can experience the island’s stunning natural black-sand beaches, giving you two very different but equally memorable coastal experiences.
Is Sandals Saint Vincent good for exploring the island?
Absolutely. One of the things that makes Saint Vincent unique is that the destination itself is just as impressive as the resort. I highly recommend taking an island tour to visit attractions like Dark View Falls, local fruit stands, scenic overlooks, and nearby islands such as Bequia and Mustique. Exploring with a local guide offers a much deeper appreciation of the island’s culture, history, and natural beauty.
How far is Sandals Saint Vincent from the airport?
The resort is approximately 45 to 60 minutes from Argyle International Airport (SVD) by complimentary transfer, depending on traffic. Guests staying in select Butler accommodations may also have the option of a scenic boat transfer, which offers spectacular views of Saint Vincent’s dramatic coastline.
How many nights should you stay at Sandals Saint Vincent?
I recommend staying at least six nights to fully enjoy everything the resort and island have to offer. This gives you enough time to experience the restaurants, pools, beach, included water sports, and entertainment while also setting aside a day or two to explore Saint Vincent or visit neighboring Grenadine islands.
How does Sandals Saint Vincent compare to other Sandals Resorts?
Sandals Saint Vincent offers a very different experience from many other Sandals destinations. Rather than focusing on nightlife or a bustling social atmosphere, this resort emphasizes tranquility, natural beauty, and luxury surrounded by rainforest and mountains. If you’re looking for a peaceful Caribbean escape that feels more exclusive and connected to nature, it may become one of your favorite Sandals Resorts.
